Short cuts using the (Ctrl) Control Key

ctrl-x    Cut
ctrl-c    Copy
ctrl-v    Paste
ctrl-z    Undo
ctrl-p    Print
ctrl-a    Select All
ctrl-o    Open
ctrl-s    Save
ctrl-x    Exit
 
A few other cool short cuts

F1    Help
F3    Find
F5    Refresh
ctrl-ins    Copy
shift-ins    Paste
alt-F4    Exit (window, or if main window exit program)
alt-space    Display the active program's system menu
alt-tab    Make another program active
ctrl-tab    Make another window in the active program active
ctrl-esc    Display the Start Menu
alt-esc    Make the next program active.
 
Try these if you have a Windows key

Windows Key    Display the Start Menu
Windows Key-tab    Make another window in the active program active
Windows Key-e    Loads Windows Explorer
Windows Key-f    Find a File on Windows
Windows Key-ctrl-f    Find a computer (if you are on a LAN)
Windows Key-m    Minimizes everything
Windows Key-r    Run a program (like Start > Run)
Windows Key-pause    Performs system function like showing the System properties window
